February 2006 News
At the February monthly meeting We started the ball rolling on seeing if we could get a grant
from Polaris for improvement of the trail system at the club grounds.
The club is still without a treasurer and the post is being temporarily filled by the Vice
President Tim Jones.
We set up the first work party for 2006 to be held February 26th at 10:00 am at the club
grounds. Hope to see a lot of members there. There are still a lot of branches and trees down
on the trails around Ace's hill, the spring road, and most of the trails opposite the field across
Wash run rd.
A proposal was brought forth in order to raise monies for the club by inviting PaAtving
members to a 1 day ride. They would have to fill out the waivers and pay the $10 waiver fee.
This would not be a rally or poker run, it would be a sort of open house to try and bring in
some new members. Riding would be limited to the hours of 9am till dusk.
We have finalized the Rally dates to be held May 7th for the first rally, and August 19th & 20th
for the second one. We will be needing volunteers to work the rallies, so if you are interested
please attend a meeting or contact a board member or officer.
Tracey wells resigned the position of treasurer that she had accepted in January.
