Old Business:

Grant Class
An overview of the grant class and current status was provided by Mark Lynch and Jill Moyher.  Jill
indicated the class is approximately 6 months long and to date the content was extremely involved but
beneficial to the club’s goals of applying for grant money.  Jill will continue to provide updates as necessary.

Fayette County Fair
Mark Lynch reported that Miller’s Yamaha has agreed to allow us to utilize their space at the fair to promote
ICV.  The fair is July 25 – August 5th.  A schedule for members to sign up will be available at our June / July
meetings.

Letter from Attorney – Landowner concerns
The letter from our attorney to the property owners that are disputing our presence was read and discussed
briefly.  According to our attorney, we are not in violation of any land covenants and will continue to fight as
long as we need to.

Tax Filing
Because we have Gross receipts of less than $28,000, we do not need to file an informational return with
the IRS.  If this changes, we will file appropriately as a non profit 501c3 organization.

Connellsville Courier
ICV was recently recognized in the Connellsville Courier.  You can check out the article online at http://www.
pittsburghlive.com/x/search/s_428778.html.

Rally Work List
A rally work list was passed around for members to sign up and volunteer for the day.  We still need
additional help with food and registration as well as set-up and take-down.

Flyers/Press Release
Flyers for our yearly schedule were distributed to members.  Press Releases were sent to local Cable
community stations and newspapers.  If anyone needs any, they should see Mark Lynch.

The winner receives $250 cash or Gas Grill and ¼ Beef and ½ pig.
A lot of the tickets were distributed at the meeting, but we have alot to get out to our members. To get

Tim Jones via email, or call him at 724-483-2707.

New Business:

Quad Tickets
ICV has expressed continued interest to host a Quad Give-away ticket.  In an effort to limit liability with a
small club (approximately 50 active families and 30 social members) – ICV will team up with QuadFest to
give away a 400 Bombardier through Auto Centers of Homer City at the summer event, July 22nd, 2006.
There will be 1000 tickets available at $10 each with the two organizations splitting profits and selling
responsibilities.  The 37 members approved selling the ticket alongside QuadFest.  The tickets will be
handed out at the next meeting in May.  ICV must sell 500 of the tickets with unsold tickets returned by July
5th’s meeting.
Mark Lynch reminded members of the point system to remain active in 2007.  There are over 50 active
families on the list, but to date, our work parties, meetings and events have not seen the activity level
needed to remain active in the next year.  Each active family will be required to sell 10 quad give-away
tickets.  These tickets will be sent through the mail or active families will be called in order to make
arrangements for ticket pick up.

PaCleanways
Our PaCleanways date has been set to April 22nd, 2006.  Bob Breakiron indicated the township
supervisors would collect the trash as long as we gathered it in one spot.  Arrangements will be made after
April 22nd for pick-up.

Dunbar Baseball Field Sponsorship
ICV members approved allotting $100 to the Dunbar Baseball Field for sponsorship signs in the outfield of
both fields.

Joey Deberry Race Car Sponsorship
ICV members approved allotting $100 to Joey Deberry to sponsor his race car.  Joey will put the ICV name
and website on the hood of the car.

Connellsville Heritage Parade
Saturday, April 29
The Connellsville Bicetennial Parade starts at 11 am – ICV will participate and Mark Lynch will gather and
post additional information on the website.
UPDATE !!!  Mark has contacted the planning chairman for the parade and was told that the parade is
already filled to capacity with participants and is no longer accepting floats or organizations. This means
that we will NOT be participating in the parade.
