August 2nd Meeting Notes


Mark Lynch called the meeting to order with 22 members present.

The treasurer’s report was read and accepted.

The secretary’s report was read and accepted.


Old Business:

EVENT FLIERS

Mark Lynch had 1500 event fliers printed for distribution.  Anyone who would like to take fliers can pick
them up after the meeting or see Mark.  Mark asked that fliers be taken and dropped off at area business
and dealerships.

Polaris Trails Grant

Since our last meeting, a professional trail groomer was hired and spent 7 days working on the trails on
the property.  A new loop was added to connect with our new parking area.  The dozer work was
completed at $2300.  Additional funds will be needed to cut the new parking area and finish the clean-up
before our weekend rally.  

From the Polaris T.R.A.I.L.S. Grant money, over $3000 has been spent to date with matching funds from
ICV of over $2000.  New signage and a voice mail service are planned to be acquired.  A GPS unit will
be purchased and final trail plans prepared and mailed to the Polaris group by August 21st, 2006.



Fayette County Fair

Currently, ICV members are manning a booth at the Fayette County Fair in conjunction with Miller’s
Yamaha.  Chances are being sold on an ICV membership at $1 each.  As of our meeting, over 27
chances have been sold.  The fair ends Saturday, August 5th.

Old Property

After successful acquisition of our new parking area, we are going to terminate the lease on the old
parking area.  Our attorney will be asked to draw up the papers.  


New Business:

Rally – August 19th and 20th

Our next rally will be August 19th and 20th; Volunteers are needed to work the rally.  Committees are
assigned as follows:

Mark Lynch – Prize

Jill Moyher – Registration / Food

Fred Lamolinara – Parking / Trails

Two work parties have been set to prepare for the Rally:

August 5th and 6th

August 12th and 13th

All work days start at 9am.

Insurance

We have been notified that we are in need of new insurance.  Ebensburg Insurance is securing this new
policy prior to our current policies expiration date.

Quad Giveaway

The winning ticket of the Quad Ticket was 094.  This was an unsold ticket.  The board of ICV unanimously
voted to have a 2nd chance drawing.  The winner of this drawing was J. Lilly of Scottdale.

50/50

No 50/50 was pulled at this meeting.

There was a motion to end the meeting by Tom Nelson, Gary Silvis seconded the motion.
