May Meeting notes.
The ICV ATV Club held its May meeting May 2, 2007
The meeting was called to order with 26 members present.
The secretary report by Amy Lynch was read and accepted.
The treasurers report by Tim Jones was read and accepted.
Old Business:
Trail Grooming
Trail grooming needs to be done. Anyone interested in the grooming work are
to meet with Fred or the board.
The Felgers have been notified that the trails are in need of grooming and Mark
has been in contact with them about the trail concerns.
Condolences
Condolences and a sympathy blanket was sent to the Nicholson family on
behalf of the club. Mark Lynch (pres)attended viewing services on behalf of the
club..
Spaghetti Dinner
Spaghetti Dinner: May 12th @ white community center. 11 am to 6pm!
Volunteers are needed for delivery and general help. Call 724 984-5138 for
preorder or to help.
Events
Quad fest is coming see Fred for parking detail volunteers /friends are
welcome!
Michigan trip is still on see Tim Or Fred.
New Business:
Trail grooming
Mr. Peck has been awarded the trail grooming task. He will start as soon as
the Felgar's approve.
Parking area
There is a trailer being installed at the club grounds. This was talked about
previously in club negotiations with the land owners. The board has agreed to
only put money into the trail system and not the parking area until we get more
info.
We are looking to put another parking area on Wash Run Road. (possibly two)
for better trail access for seniors and children. (more details to come)
Nonprofit status
Exempt/Non Profit status work has been completed for the clubs IRS status.
Timbering
Connie Nicholson was contacted by Mark to get the status on the timbering
operation. She informed mark they are not done and have given a right of way
to an adjoining landowner to use the old landing on the Nicholson property.
Connie will call us when the operation is over so we can resume access to that
parcel. Pro rated taxes will be discussed later.
PA Cleanways
Pa clean ways detail is June 2nd @ Indian head snack bar @ 9 am. Wash run
etc. will be cleaned.(Bob Breakiron Family and Sharon will do Niels run.)
